What to Expect on the Day of MyEllevate

On the day of your MyEllevate procedure, you will arrive at our office and be warmly welcomed. You will review your treatment plan with Dr. Baldenhofer and can ask any final questions.

The procedure is performed in a private room under local anesthesia, ensuring the process is completely painless. The procedure is much quicker than surgical approaches, lasting about one hour. During the procedure, Dr. Baldenhofer uses the ICLED® suture system, which entails placing sutures through tiny, needle-sized holes to lift and tighten muscles. Large incisions are not needed, which minimizes bleeding.

You will be able to return home the same day as your procedure, but you should take the rest of the day off to prioritize rest and begin your recovery.

Your Guide to Post-MyEllevate Care

The recovery still includes some swelling and bruising, but they are much less pronounced and generally fade within 3-5 days. The contoured neck and more defined jawline will be visible immediately, with results slowly improving over the following weeks after the procedure.

You should wear the support garment, which is typically a chin strap, for 3-4 days to support your neck. Avoid strenuous activities and heavy lifting for at least two weeks.
